VIVIENNE'S BIO
Singer, Songwriter, Playwright and
Comedian born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and grew up in the Mantua area of
West Philadelphia.
She's the middle child of a working class family that faced many challenges, and the only way she could get any real, positive attention was to sing.
Therefore, she sang a lot and very talented artist.
Vivienne became equally adept at singing in several different Genres Including:
R&B, Jazz and Gospel!
She has been singing for over twenty years!
She started singing at the age of seven in “The All Philadelphia Boys and Girls Choir.”
She began singing professionally as the featured vocalist with “Nate Murray & The Truth
After her first night on stage, she was hooked on show business and hooked on performing on stage in the presence of big live audiences.
Her Early Years Experience include:
Opening Act for Blue Magic, The Philly Intruders, ‘’The Blue Notes’’ "Sounds Of the Platters,’’
World of the Superstars’’ Taste of Gold’’
Still later in her growing and thriving career, Vivienne sang with other such talents as
“The Marvelettes ” Jazz Sax player “James Watkins” and Jazz and R&B Pianist
“Alfie Politt”.
